Krause in front of book, 24 photographic stereoviews, each with facing page of explanatory text, all printed on coated, thin, cover-weight paper. Pages edged in gold. Publisher's red cloth over wood cover. Cover and spine decoratively blocked in black and titled in gilt, with a stereoscopic viewer built into the binding as a flap attached to the inside front cover. Published by John Murray, London, 1856. Brown cloth cover. Very Good condition. No jacket. First edition. 5 ¼ x 7 ½. This is a rare, original first edition – bound in the original brown cloth with gold gilt stereo viewer on front cover. Bound by Edmunds & Remnants of London. 235 pages, plus book ads, stereoscope catalogue and 32 page Murray catalogue. Includes 50 wood engravings. This book is in very fine condition and from a private collection. Some evidence of wear; worn corners and shelving scuffs on the cover. Binding is solid and sturdy. No foxing on the text pages. Some age discoloration, but nothing disfiguring.

By John Jones. Published by Roxby Press 1976. A two-volume set consisting of one set of 48 stereograph cards, glasses, and instruction sheet; one 126-page volume with text and corresponding photographs to the included stereograph card set. All are encased in hard cardboard shell sleeve. This volume is in very good condition! Only some minor fraying on the corners. No foxing, original binding is very tight and solid. The included stereo glasses are free from defect and the stereo cards are like new with no scuffing or dog-ear marks. From a private collection.
