The Windsor Floor Telescope is an original design by Erik Van Cort. He has continued to make this top of the line model for more than 30 years. The instrument carries the look and feel of a fine 19^th century refractors with all the modern improvements. Precise machining and finishing are at the core, with the latest achromatic erecting optical system, pin-sharp at any distance. Complete with a five element wide angle finders scope, the subject can be  quickly located. The Windsor Gold Signature Series features an altitude post which is adjustable for height, allowing comfortable viewing by viewers of different heights. All metal work is constructed from solid lathe and milled brass, which has been heavily gold plated. The mahogany woodwork has been hand-rubbed and coated for a state appearance. This 54 power telescope exhibits a field of view of 45 degrees and is exquisitely constructed in Van Cort’s workshop.
